Completion of office premises in Weston Super Mare for Knightstone Housing HQ26 May 2013
We are delighted to announce the completion of Knightstone Housing’s new office premises in Weston Super Mare situated on plot B of Weston Gateway Business Park.
The handover of the 40,000 square office space foot took place on Friday 24th May and see’s the amalgamation of Knightstone Housing’s south west offices into one large new HQ. 300 staff will occupy the new offices bringing further employment to Weston and North Somerset.

Knightsone’s new Headquarters has been built to a high environmental standard and has achieved a BREEAM rating of very good. High energy efficiency has been achieved by the use of Photo Voltaic (PV) panels on the roof generating on site power whilst south facing windows are tripled glazed providing an optimised energy balance through high solar gain and insulation properties while shading is provided by Brise Soleil aluminium louvers.
Building on the success of the new Knightstone Housing HQ Weston Gateway Business Park are actively seeking new businesses to fill the remaining plots for sale on the site. The pub chain Green King are on board and building work will commence shortly for a pub restaurant to service businesses on the site and the surrounding area. The remaining plots have outline planning permission for a variety of uses including, hotels and leisure, office premises and trade counters.
